Almonds, pecans, lemon, pineapple and even chocolate....with party cheese ball recipes, your options are limitless, but here are a few recipes to get you started.
Prep 15 min. Total 2 hours 15 min.
1 cup chopped toasted pecans
2 (8 oz. each) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
1 Tbsp. chopped red bell peppers
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. lemon juice
Dash ground red pepper (cayenne)
Healthy substitutes: Make with reduced-fat cream cheese, low-fat cheese and serve with reduced fat crackers.
Makes 24 servings, about 3 cups (2 Tbsp. each)
Beat cream cheese and cheddar in a small bowl with mixer until well blended.
Add all remaining ingredients except nuts; mix well. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Shape into a ball; place chopped nuts of parchment/wax paper and roll ball over nuts.
Serve with crackers.

4 slices Bacon, cooked and finely cooked
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
Makes 18 servings, 3 balls each
Healthy substitutes: Make with turkey bacon, reduced-fat cream cheese and low-fat cheese.
Mix cream cheese and mozzarella cheese until well blended. Stir in bacon and seasonings.
Shape mixture into 54 balls, 1 tsp. each. Roll in walnuts. Cover with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours.

2 (10 oz. each) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed, well drained & patted dry
1 (6 oz.) pkg. stuffing mix for Chicken (Stove top suggested)
1 2/3 cups hot water
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
Makes 30 servings, 2 balls each
Heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix stuffing mix, hot water and butter in a large bowl until well blended.
Add remaining ingredients; mix lightly. Shape into 60 balls - 1 inch each.
Place in a single layer in 2 (15x10x1-inch) pans sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake 15 to 20 min. or until lightly browned.
Make ahead: Prepare and bake as directed; cool completely. Place in freezer zip-lock bags; freeze up to 3 months! When ready to serve, thaw in refrigerator. Place on baking sheets, bake at 400 Fahrenheit for 10-15 min. or until heated through. Enjoy!
