This bacon appetizer will please any guest at your party, and for the vegan or health conscious person, just omit the bacon.
Prep 10 min. Total 40 min.
12 slices fully cooked bacon, cut crosswise in half
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup Miracle whip dressing or mayonnaise
(use Light dressing, if desired)
1 (8 oz.) can whole water chestnuts, drained
Makes 12 servings, 2 pieces each
Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Wrap bacon around water chestnuts; secure with toothpicks. Place in a shallow baking dish.
Mix remaining ingredients; pour over water chestnuts.
Bake for 30 minutes or until heated through.
