Whip up one of these slush recipes and sip your way to summer refreshment.

These tasty fruit freezes are perfect for a summer party or an afternoon snack.

Frozen Watermelon Slush

Ingredients:

3 cups cubed watermelon (seeds removed)

1 cup frozen strawberries

2 scoops lemon sorbet

1/4 cup pineapple juice, chilled

2 Tbsp. lime juice

Makes 8 servings

Directions:

In a blender, combine watermelon, strawberries, sorbet, pineapple juice and lime juice. Blend until mixture is smooth. Pour into glasses.

Cantaloupe Slush

Ingredients:

4 cups ripe cantaloupe, cubed

1/2 cup orange juice

1/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt

2 Tbsp. sugar or honey

Makes 4 cups

Directions:

Spread cantaloupe in a single layer on a wax-paper-lined baking sheet(s). Freeze for 45 min. or until three-quarters frozen (do not freeze rock-hard).

In a blender, place orange juice, yogurt and honey or sugar. Top with cantaloupe; whirl until smooth and slushy. Serve in chilled glasses.

Watermelon-Berry Slush

Ingredients:

4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed

3/4 cup melted lowfat vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt

1/2 cup fresh or thawed frozen raspberries

1 Tbsp. honey or sugar

2 tsp. lemon juice

Makes 4 cups

Directions:

Spread watermelon in a single layer on wax-paper-lined baking sheet. Freeze 45 min. or until three-quarters frozen (do not freeze rock-hand).

In a blender, place remaining ingredients, top with watermelon and whirl until smooth and slushy. Serve in chilled glasses.

Key-Lime & Honeydew Slush

Ingredients:

4 cups ripe honeydew melon, cubed

1 (6 oz.) carton lowfat key-lime flavored yogurt

1/3 cup apple juice

1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice

1 Tbsp. honey or sugar

Makes 4 cups

Directions:

Spread honeydew in a single layer on wax-paper-lined baking sheet. Freeze 45 min. or until three-quarters frozen (do not freeze rock-hand).

In a blender, place remaining ingredients, top with watermelon and whirl until smooth and slushy. Serve in chilled glasses.
