This salmon burger recipe makes for a quick, delectable and nutritious way of serving up canned salmon.

Grillin' tip: Salmon is fragile to grill, so it's important to have the grill well oiled and the heat steady at medium-high. Handle the burgers gently with a large spatula.
Prep 10 min. Chill 1 hr. Cook 10 min.
Ingredients:
3 (14.75 oz.) cans of pink salmon, drained
Egg whites from 4 large eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise or miracle whip
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 cups plain bread crumbs
3 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill
Salt and pepper
8 hamburger buns
Makes 8 servings
Directions:
Put salmon in a bowl; remove skin and bones. In a bowl, whisk egg whites and mayonnaise. Stir all ingredients together (expect buns). Form into 8 patties, cover and chill for 1 hour. Prepare a charcoal fire or gas grill to medium-high. Thoroughly oil grill grate; mist burgers with cooking spray. Grill burgers until firm, about 3 min. per side.
